"Like a Fingerprint of God"

Ron Kinard (c) 2002

when I leave this world, I would like to be remembered as

being kind and gentle

being loving and friendly

towards people, animals and nature

giving of myself freely with no strings attached

looking for nothing more than a simple "thank you"

helping others, especially to those in need

mainly to be remembered as

being a God fearing man

I was raised to put God first, others second and

myself last

in this day and time so many are out for number one

the heck with others and leaving God out almost completely

luckily with an occasional prayer only when they need help

Im hoping one day my words will be read and my art seen by all

giving all the glory to God for giving me the ability,

the talent and the time to create

I hope and pray to be remembered in a positive way by

helping others to find Him by shining in the darkness like a beacon

leaving my mark on this world like

a fingerprint of God

It's only a dream, a desire...to be remembered fondly, doing what good I can while I'm here...to leave a positive mark!
